Last Friday Isaac got to spend his very first night in a big boy bed! Thanks to many great friends & family, he got a brand new bed for his birthday, along with a very fun Cars (the movie) bed set. If you didn't already know, Isaac is obsessed with Cars. This may be the only reason he was actually excited about the bed, along with the fact that Elijah also sleeps in a big boy bed. Everytime we mentioned the bed before we got it he would say "Li, Li" (Elijah).
It took him about an hour to finally settle down and sleep, but he never gets out of it by himself and for the most part it has been an easy transition. We quickly had to institute a no-playing-on-the-bed rule since it didn't take long for him to experiment with jumping. Here are some pictures:
He was beginning to look huge in his crib, but he is tiny in this bed!!
